We support the ALS Association of St. Louis. We volunteered and sponsored a hole at their Golf Tournament on 8/19/19.
The St. Louis Regional Chapter improves the lives of people living with ALS and their loved ones in eastern Missouri and central and southern Illinois, through services and education.

Saint Louis Senior Centers and Activities
The St. Louis Activity Center is one of a few “Full Service” Senior Centers in the City. Their mission is to provide participants with resources in the areas of physical and mental health, nutrition, education and transportation to ensure the opportunity to experience an optimal quality of life and encourage “Aging in Place”. The center promotes community health and programs for the undeserved seniors and disabled in the City of St. Louis.
The St Louis Area Agency on Aging is the go-to state resource for information on elderly services, transportation, food services, medicare, and other related services.
The nutrition programs are especially important for seniors and persons with disabilities. Home delivered meals and congregate meals are provided for seniors over 60 years of age
Saint Louis Area Social Services and Organizations
For years, the Great St. Louis Chapter of the American Red Cross has worked to prevent and alleviate human suffering during emergencies by mobilizing volunteers and gathering donations. The Red Cross helps the citizens of Missouri prepare for and provides relief from all types of disasters including house fires, house fires, tornadoes, winter storms, and health emergencies. Need help with the law but short on funds? The Missouri Senior Resource Line is a service of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services that provides resources for legal assistance to Missouri seniors who cannot afford it in addition to help with nutrition, disease prevention, family support, and other critical senior concerns.

Resources for Home Care Providers
The Accessible Home Health Care Resources section has information on Fall Prevention, an Alzheimer’s Care Guide, and a Family Learning Center, as well as many blog posts about making aging in place a wonderful part of life.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) investigates abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable individuals 60 and older and people with disabilities between 18 and 59. Anyone who suspects someone is being abused, neglected, or exploited can make a report.

Greater Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association
Currently, more than 110,000 people in Missouri are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and over 314,000 family, friends and caregivers are providing care.
The Greater Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association serves 86 counties in Missouri and 10 in Illinois. They provide education and support to all those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout our community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals and families.
